Dennis Oland's defence is scheduled to begin presenting its case on Thursday in the second-degree murder trial.

The Crown rested its case against the son of businessman Richard Oland on Wednesday.

Richard Oland was found lying face down in a pool of blood in his Saint John officer on July 7, 2011.

His son Dennis Oland is the last known person to see him alive. Hehas pleaded not guilty to a charge of second-degree murder.
