Joy Kearsey, a DNA expert,isexpected to testify in detail about what was found on clothes seized from DennisOland.

Kearseyspent most of Monday leading the jury through aPowerPointpresentation about DNA and explaining some of the strengths and weaknesses of the forensic tests scientists use.

Thebody of RichardOland, 69, was discovered in his office the following morning,lying face down in a pool of blood, with "hundreds" of blood spatter stains around him.

DennisOland, 47, who was the last know person to see his father alive,has pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and is standing trial before a judge and jury in the Court of Queen's Bench in Saint John.
