RCMP uses social media video to help find Marissa Shephard

The Codiac Regional RCMP is appealing to the public, via social media, for help in finding Marissa Shephard, 20, of Moncton, who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for first-degree murder and arson.

The CodiacRegional RCMPis appealing to the public, via social media, for help in findingMarissa Shephard, 20,of Moncton, who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for first-degree murder and arson.

According to a statement, police released a video on YouTubeThursdayin an effort to locate and arrest the woman.

Police says Shephard is wanted in connection with "the extremely violent murder of 18-year-old Baylee Wylie" on Dec17, 2015.

Tyler Noel has beencharged with first-degree murderin connection with the deathof Wylie.Noel, 18, was apprehended near Petitcodiac, N.B., on Jan. 9.

Zachary Holden, 18 and Bradley John Bonnell, 20 were arrested along with Noel.

Holdenhas been charged withassisting fugitive Tyler Noel,being unlawfully in a dwelling house, flight from police,dangerous driving andpossessing a stolen firearm.

Bonnell wascharged with being an accessory to murder after the fact,in connection with the death of 18-year-old Baylee Wylie, by assisting Noel to escape as well asbeing unlawfully in a dwelling house.

"It has been six weeks since the tragic death of Baylee Wylie," says Const. Jullie Rogers-Marsh in a statement.

"It's important for the public to know we are still actively investigating his violent murder and we are asking people to share the video on social media as much as possible in hopes that someone knows where police can find Marissa Shephard."

The video featuresphotos ofMarissaShephardthat police believe showher ability to change her appearance.

Police sayMarissa Shephard is167 centimetrestall and weighs approximately 45kg.She has brown eyes and brown hair,a tattoo ofthe name Stephen on her neck and a tattoo of a crown on her chest.
