Turcot Interchange reopened after man falls off expressway

Turcot Interchange ramps have reopened after a man involved in a crash left his car and then fell onto the ramp below.

Driver climbed out the window of his vehicle and fell onto the eastbound 720, police say

Turcot Interchange ramps havereopened after a man involved in a crashleft his car and then fell onto the ramp below.

At one point on Tuesday afternoon,all the interchange ramps were closed to traffic, causing major congestion in the area.

Quebec provincial police spokeswomanAudrey-AnneBilodeau said avehicle crashed into the back of a transport truckon the westbound Villemarie at around 3:20 p.m.

Bilodeau said the driver climbed out the window ofhis vehicle and fell onto the eastbound Highway 720 below.

She said the man died from his injuries.
