Montreal police have arrested a man they believe torched several tow trucks after having his vehicle towed.

Jonathan Raymond, 35, faces several charges after allegedly setting fire to four tow trucks between Sept. 20 and 22 in the Lachine and VilleraySaint-MichelParc-Extension boroughs.

"The suspect is believed to have set ablaze several tow trucks belonging to several companies that, according to him, towed his vehicle several years ago," said Montreal police Const. Abdullah Emran.

Raymond might also be facing a psychological evaluation, he added.

Police are investigating the possibility that the suspect was also connected to other offences and are asking anybody with relevant information to call their anonymous tip line at 514-393-1133.
