Quebec anti-corruption squad conducts more Laval raids

Quebec's anti-corruption squad is once again raiding a number of locations in Laval.

UPAC officials target engineering consulting firms

UPAC executef four search warrants in Laval offices Tuesday, targeting Simard-Beaudry and Dessau construction firms. Thursday's raids are a continuation of ones undertaken earlier in the week. (CBC)

Quebec's anti-corruption squad is once again raiding a number of locations in Laval.

They are reported to be targeting a number of offices, including engineering consulting firms.

"There are no arrests planned, but investigators are meeting with people," said UPAC spokeswoman Anne-Frdrick Laurence.

UPAC confirms about 50 officers are on the ground.

Raids targeting engineering consulting firms were also conducted on Tuesday.
