A Rougemont, Que., man with terminal cancer had a dream come true in the form of a serenade from mega-star Cline Dion at her new Las Vegas show.

MichelMarceau,67,was diagnosed with pancreaticcancer in August 2014 on the first day of his retirement.

One of his bucket-list items was to seeDionperform, and soMarceauand his family headed to Vegaswith that goal in mind. Little did he know, his loved ones had been in touch with the singer'sentourage in advance of the trip.

On Saturday night, as they were sitting in the theatre atCaesarsPalace watching the show,DionapproachedMarceauin the audience and sang a song directly to him.

Dion'sfamily has been going through its own struggle with cancer.

Her husband,ReneAnglil, 73, is being cared for at the home they share in Las Vegas. He was diagnosed with throat cancer for a second time in 2013.

Diontook a break from her Vegas show to care for him, but returned to the stage in August.
