A group of singers boarded a Winnipeg Transit bus Tuesday to belt some tunes in protest of a new city bylaw that would result in a $100 finefor people involved in unauthorized performances on city buses.

After warming up their pipes, the group ofWinnipeggerswho call themselves the Royal Winnipeg Transit Choirgot on board a bus and let loose.

Council's executive policy committee approved the bylaw on Wednesday last week, prompting a chorus of protest from the public. Council has since decided it will take another look at the bylaw.
