Police ask for help to identify suspects in Winnipeg robbery

Winnipeg police have released surveillance photos of two robbers and are asking for the public's help identifying them.

Winnipeg police have released surveillance photos of two robbersandare asking for the public's help identifying them.

Officers were called to investigate the robbery at a convenience store in the 500 block of Hamilton around 8 p.m. on June 18.

One of the robbers was armed with a knife and the other carried an imitation firearm.

A customer was in the store with a small childbut no one was hurt, police said.

The robbers got away with some cash.

They are described as:

  • Male 1: five feet, seven inchestall.
  • Male 2:five feet, three inches, to five feet, seven inchestall with dark facial hair.
