A Winnipeg city councillor haslaunched awebsitefor peoplein his ward to complain about the stink.

Coun.Matt Allard, who representsSt.Boniface, is inviting residents to use the site to list their odorous complaints where they think it's coming from, and how it's affecting them.

Earlier this year, Allard complained about a "cocktail of unpleasant smells" wafting through the neighbourhood, sometimes getting so bad it forces people to stay indoors.

He hasidentified two companiesthat have been the primarysubjects of pungent concerns in the pasta mushroom plant and arendering facility.

However, while the businesses produce the unpleasant smells, the proper jurisdiction for complaintsbelongs to theprovince.
