RCMP seek tips in 2007 slaying in Thompson

Manitoba RCMP are appealing to the public for assistancein solving thekilling of a 61-year-old man in the northern city of Thompson.

Bernard Carlson was shot to death by an intruder or intruders who broke into his Yale Avenue home on Oct. 26, 2007, Sgt. Line Karpish saidTuesday.

Police and Carlsons family are asking anyone with information to contact RCMP in Thompson, about 740 kilometres north of Winnipeg,at 204-677-6909 or call Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
