Missing Flin Flon woman found dead: RCMP

A 27-year-old woman who wentmissing in Manitoba on New Year's Eve has been found dead, RCMP say.

KaraFosseneuve was last seen on New Year's Eveas she was leaving a residence on Dadson Row in Flin Flon, Man.She left on foot in an unknown direction and did not have her cellphone.

Although criminality doesn't seem to be a factor in Fosseneuve's death at this time, an autopsy must still take place and nothing is being ruled out until that occurs, an RCMPspokespersonsaid Monday.

Family previously told CBC News they reported Fosseneuve missing last Thursday, after they realized she had not been active on social media since Dec. 29 and did not show up at work last week.
