Do well in school and the province could pay for part of your university education that's what the Manitoba Liberals are promising.

If elected in the Oct. 4. provincial election, a Liberal governmentwould provide cash credits towarda post-secondary tuition for kids who do well in grade school.

And university students who get good grades would be eligible for a tuition rebate, party leader Jon Gerrard announced Tuesday.

The Liberals would also give students a bus pass as part of their fees.

The package would cost $57 million.
