Man dies after being found unresponsive on College Avenue in Winnipeg

A man died after he was found incritical condition in the North End last week, Winnipeg police say.

A man died after he was found in critical condition in the North End last week, Winnipeg police say.

Police were called about an unresponsive man on College Avenue, off Sinclair Street,just after5:30p.m. on Oct. 18. Officers provided emergency care before the man was sent to hospital, where he waslater pronounced dead.

The man has beenidentified as Shawn Douglas Thomas, 33, a member of Peguis First Nation who was living inWinnipeg.

The police service's homicide unit is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to contact them at 204-986-6508.
