Woman dies after being hit by truck in East Kildonan

A 68-year-old woman who was hit by a truck whilecrossing Henderson Highway earlier this week has died.

The crash happened at the intersection of Hendersonand Kimberly Avenue around noon on Sunday.

On Tuesday, police said the woman was walking across Hendersonand the truck was turning north onto Henderson off Kimberly.

The intersection wasclosed for several hours as police investigated. The woman was rushed to hospital in critical condition and died on Tuesday, police said.

No charges have been laid in connection to the incident.
