Fake lifeguard station protests bad pothole in Winnipeg

A pothole in Winnipeg now has its own lifeguard station although no one is on duty so swim at your own risk.

The muddy puddle is approximately 10 centimetres deep and about a metre wide. It's located on Whyte Avenue near Vine Street in the city's Weston neighbourhood.

The areais part residential, part industrial and one visitor staying on the street, Earl Spong, said heavy trucks have widened the pothole.

As of 3:45 p.m. on Friday a City of Winnipeg spokesperson told CBC ithad filled the pothole.

The cityencourages all citizens to report potholes to 311 by phone or email at 311@winnipeg.ca.
