Winnipeggers asked for feedback on design of bike lane system

The City of Winnipeg says it is committed to developinga pedestrian and cycling network that is safe and accessible for people of all ages and abilities, and staff wantyour feedback.

Winnipeggersare invited to check out thedesign options for the downtown bike lane system and West Alexander pedestrian and cycling corridor projects.

Drop-in public events will allowpeople to view proposed design options, provide feedback and speak with the project teams.

Anyone unable to attend the pop-up events can visit the city's interactive website where design options can be viewed, comments can be posted on a discussion boardand feedback can be provided through an online survey.

Downtown bike lane system

View three options designed to upgrade the existing bike lanes on Fort Street and Garry Street, as well as an improved connection between the Assiniboine Avenue protected bicycle lanes and the new protected bicycle lanes connecting to The Forks.
