Cyclist injured in collision with BMW in Crescentwood

A cyclist is recovering after he was hitby a BMW in the Crescentwood neighbourhood on Wednesday night.

The driver wasturning left from westboundWellington Crescent onto Grosvenor Avenue at around 7:50 p.m. CT when he hit the cyclist whiletemporarily blinded by the sun, police said.

The 22-year-old man on the bicycle sustained multiple injuries and was taken to hospital in unstable condition. The cyclist's condition has improved and he is now listed as stable, police said.
