Creatures and characters invade convention centre for Comic Con

The male version of Maleficent, a ganster-pimp hybrid, zombie Santa they all attended Comic Con.

Travis Cool or zombie Santa was at a friend's booth, where for $5, guests can have their picture taken with Cool and printed on a Christmas card to send out around the holidays. Cool himself comes for anything and everything Star Wars.

"Star Wars. I love Star Wars. Like, I have a massive Star Wars tattoo," Cool said, smiling. "I just love buying the toys. I'm sort of a sucker for it."

One of the highlights of this year's Comic Con is the appearance of several actors from The Hobbit.The experience won't come cheap for fans, though. A picture and an autograph costs over $180.
