CBC Manitoba's 'Sad Santa' photo contest winner unveiled

We have a winner in CBC Manitoba's Sad Santa Photo Contest, which brought in hundreds of photos of children not exactly being thrilled to sit on jolly Saint Nick's lap.

The contest wrapped up at noon Friday, after 11 days of voting on CBC Manitoba's Facebook page.

Our winner is Shelley Cook, whose entry received 371 votes.

"Well this didn't work well," Cook wrote in the caption of her Instagram post.

Cook wins a Family Holiday Break Staycation package, with an estimated value of $300, that includes:

• One vehicle pass for Winter Wonderland.
• A $50 gift certificate for Great Big Adventure.
• Four tickets to MTYP's production of James and the Giant Peach.
• An all-you-can-ride (from Dec. 19 toJan. 3) family snow tubing pass from Adrenaline Adventures.
• A family pass to theXOXO: Love and Forgiveness exhibit at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
• A family pass to FortWhyte Alive.
