After searching for more than three months, Winnipeg police have located a third and final suspect allegedly involved in a North End killing in February.

Joshua Leclerc, 20, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and breach of recognizance Thursday.

Police say he was partly responsible for the death of Winnipeg's Canon Franklin Beardy.

The 28-year-old man was fatally injured in a duplex on the 500 block of Magnus Avenue Feb. 6.

Police said at the time Beardy suffered multiple serious injuries before his death in hospital.

Just over a week after his death police charged a 14-year-old with second-degree murder.

Then in March a 16-year-old was arrested and charged with second-degree murder along with a host of other charges including possessing the proceeds of a crime and fleeing police.

The minors cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
