Bombers' Muamba voted CFL East most outstanding Canadian

Blue Bombers linebacker Henoc Muambahas been voted as the most outstanding Canadian in the CFLs East Division.

The CFLon Thursday announced the mostoutstandingplayers for both the East and West Divisions and the listincluded a record number of Canadians. Seven Canadian players were honoured for eight most outstanding player awards.

Muamba, 24,played in all 18 games this season collected106 tackles, 18 special teams tackles, one sack and one interception.

Those 106 defensive tackles were second overall in the league.

TheCFL Player Awardswill be handed out Nov. 21at Conexus Arts Centre in Regina.
