No new COVID-19 cases in London region, possible exposure to virus in Seaforth

There are no new cases of COVID-19 to report for the London region on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the province has provided new details about the fourth case in Grey Bruce

There are no new cases of COVID-19 to report in the London area, according to the latest numbers from the Middlesex-London Health Unit.

On Monday, two cases were reported by the health unit: a man in his 50s and another man in his 60s.

It's still unclear if they acquired the virus through travel or community transmission.

As it stands, there are currently 14 cases of COVID-19 in the London region.

Update on latest case in Grey Bruce

There are new details aboutthe fourth case of COVID-19 in Grey Bruce.

The patient is a female in her 30s who recently travelled to Italy and is now in self-isolation, according to the province.

All of the cases in Grey Bruce aretravel-related.

As of Tuesday morning, Ontario has 588 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Possible COVID-19 exposure in Seaforth

The Huron Perth Health Unit is asking somepeople who visited the Seaforth Agricultural Society to self-monitor for possible COVID-19 symptoms.

Anyone who visited theSeaforth Agriplexbetween March 14 at 9 p.m. andMarch 15 at 1 a.m. is being asked to do so.

It's believed a resident from the Waterloo Region, who has tested positive for COVID-19,attended theSeaforth event.

Health officials say anyone who develops symptoms are asked to self-isolate for 14 days.

There are still two confirmed cases in Huron Perth, including a 64-year-old man from St. Marys who remains in hospital in critical condition.
