3 dead after 2-vehicle collision in Wellesley Township

Police say emergency services were called to the scene ofa crash between a Tesla and a Dodge Ram around 9:40 a.m.ET at the intersection Hessen Strasse and Greenwood Hill Road in Wellesley.

Three people are dead after a two-vehicle collision Monday morning in Wellesley Township.

Police say emergency services were called to the scene ofa crash around 9:40 a.m. ET between a Tesla and a Dodge Ram at the intersection Hessen Strasse and Greenwood Hill Road.

The driver of the Tesla, a 25-year-old Cambridge man, and one of the passengers, a 30-year-old Kitchener man, were pronounced dead at the scene.

A third passenger, a23-year-old Kitchener woman, was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

A fourth passenger, a23-year-old Kitchener man, was sent to an out-of-region hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Dodge Ram, a 28-year-old man, and the passenger, a 28-year-old woman, both from Perth County, were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Roads in the area were closed for several hours for the investigation and have since been reopened.

The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crashor anyone with dashcamfootage to come forward.
