Police looking for 4 men after reported shooting in Cambridge

Waterloo regional police were called to the area of Can-Amera Parkway and Franklin Boulevard at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday after a report of a shooting.

Waterloo regional police are looking for four meninvolved in what is believed to be a targeted shooting in Cambridge.

Police received reports of a disturbance at a residence in the area of Can-Amera Parkway and Franklin Boulevard in Cambridgearound12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A firearm was fired at the scene, police said. Officersbelieve a manwas injured, but was seen fleeing the area. Police would like to locate the man to determine the severity of his injuries.

Investigatorsare now looking for four men seen leaving the area in a white rental van.

One was wearing a black coat and grey pants. Asecond man was wearinga dark coat and dark pants.

The third manis described as wearing a black coat.

Police do not have a description of the fourth man believed to be involved.

Police are also looking for a man and a womanwho were seen in the area at the time of the shooting.

The womanis described as being in her 20swith blonde hair. She was seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

The manwaswearing a plaid jacket and blue jeans.

Police said there is no risk to public safety.
