Documentary about a play follows local Rohingya refugees

The documentary calledI AmRohingya: A Genocide in Four Actscaptures how a playabout the ethnic cleansing of the Rohingya from Myanmar came to be.

The play was acted in by young Rohingya refugeesall born or raised in refugee camps in Bangladesh and now living in Kitchener-Waterloo.

The documentaryfollows the group of young people as they put together theplay that tells their families' stories.

CBC K-W's The Morning EditionhostCraig Norris spoke to Yusuf Zine, the director of the play and the documentary, andAhmed Ullah, one of the actors.

The film screens at the Theatre of the Arts at University of WaterlooSunday night,followed by a question and answer session with the cast and crew.
