Bank robbery suspects photo released in Kitchener

Police have released a photo of suspects wanted in an armed bank robbery in Kitchener.

Police have released a photo of suspects wanted in an armed bank robbery in Kitchener.

It happened just after 3:30 p.m. Thursday at a TD Canada Trust location on Pioneer Drive.

Waterloo regional police said two masked suspects, armed with a handgun, demanded money.

The duo took off in a newer-model silver SUV on Homer Watson Boulevard.

Police said they were headed toward Highway 401.

Both suspects are described as male, with one about six feet tall and the other about five-foot-eight-inches tall.

Both appeared to be about 20 years old and had medium builds, police said.
