CBCKitchener-Waterloo's annual Sounds of the Season event goes live-to-air from TheMuseum on Friday, Dec. 6 withThe Morning Edition's host Craig Norris.

We are now out of tickets for seats, but you're still invited to join the show. Standing room and seats on the stairs will be on a first come-first serve basis starting at 6 a.m.

From musical gueststo interviews and even a cooking demonstration, you can attend this holiday performance in person, listen on CBC Radio One 89.1 FM or watch online from the comfort of your home.

Last year, the campaignraised enough money and food for 33,000 meals for food bank users in Waterloo region. It was a new record for CBC Kitchener-Waterloo and one we're hoping to beat this year.

This year's performers and guests

The house musician this year is Andrew Craig.

Also joining the show is the community choirInshallah.

TheEastwood Collegiate Chamber Choirwill also perform,directed by Tammy Rogerson.

Rick Guzikis back with his accordion.

Chef Aicha Smith-Belghabafrom Six Nations of the Grand River will join CBC Kitchener-Waterloo food columnist Andrew Coppolino to offer up a dish made with low-cost ingredients. She was also part of a Facebook Live cooking demonstration in September at Our Sustenance.

Food writer Jasmine Mangalaserilwill join the show to discuss various foods enjoyed at this time of year in different cultures, from risalamande to toshikoshi.

Phil LeConteand Rob Bebenek, both of the Kitchener-Waterloo Comedy Festival, will join the show to talk about the festival and the holidays.
