Municipal Review | What it might mean for Waterloo region: Ken Seiling

The province has announced its anticipated review of Ontario's municipal government system. What could it mean for Waterloo region? Former regional chair Ken Seiling has been announced as co-chair of the process.

Ontario's Progressive Conservatives haveannounced a planto comprehensively review the province'sregional governments.

The review includes all eight regional municipalities Halton, York, Durham, Waterloo, Niagara, Peel, Muskoka District,Oxford County, and the County of Simcoe and their lower-tier municipalities.

A total of 82 municipalities will be examined, and the province hasn't ruled out the possibility that some could be amalgamated in the future.
