Motorcyclist killed in Wellington County crash identified

The motorcyclist killed in a crash on Wednesday has been identified.

Darren Suszczynski, 42, of Fergus was killed in a crash around 4 p.m. on Wellington Road7 and Sideroad 4, near Ponsonby.

According to police, Suszczynski's motorcycle collided with a car. He was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the car wasn't injured.

Wellington County OPPcontinue to investigate.

It was the second fatal collision on Wellington Road 7 in two days.

On Tuesday, Richard Lane, 48, of Fergus died whenthe bicycle he was riding was hit by a vehicle.
