Man allegedly tried to spit on Tim Hortons employee, WRPS say

Waterloo regional police are looking for a man who allegedly tried to spit on a Tim Hortons employee Saturday morning.

Police say officers were called to the coffee chain location on Westhill Drive in Waterloo at around 9:40 a.m, in response to a reported assault.

The man had tried to order from the drive-through window while on foot, and police say he became agitated when he was denied.

The man attempted to spit on staff before he left, police say.

He is described as about 5'10" with short black hair and a clean-shaven face. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black baseball cap, a sweater, black pants and shoes.

On Monday, a man was charged by Guelph Police for allegedly spitting on a grocery store employee in the city earlier this month.
