This is the newest riding in Waterloo region and like other areas, there are a number of issues voters are contemplating as they head to the polls.

The area has seen a rise in gun violence this year, but voters are also thinking about climate change, the rise in the cost of living and whether they can trust politicians.

There are seven candidates running in this riding.

Liberal Marwan Tabbara is the incumbent. He's facing Conservative Alan Keeso, NDP's Wasai Rahimi, Green Party candidate David Weber, Joseph Todd of the People's Party, Elaine Baetz of the Marxist-Leninist Party of Canada and Veterans Coalition Party of Canada candidate Matthew Correia.
