The Guelph Public Library has changed the look and colours of its logo to reflect a new focus on becoming an information and technology hub.

"Explore. Connect. Thrive," will become the library's motto as it invites people in the community to use its resources and space to share ideas and information.

"Our 'business' today is about so much more than books, and our former logo no longer reflects the current vision of what the library is," GuelphPublic Library CEOSteve Kraft said in a release.

"Change is constant and it's important for us to evolve as the needs of our community evolve and as other libraries are evolving."
