CIBC robbed in Cambridge, police search for male suspect

Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a CIBC in Cambridge Thursday afternoon.

Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a CIBC on Dundas Street N., in Cambridge Thursday afternoon.

The man walked into the bank around 2 p.m. and demanded money. He took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described as being between 25 to 35 years old, six feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing dark pants, a hoodie and had his face covered. Police did not say if the person was armed.

Police released two images of the suspect.

The robbery comes after a series of robberies at Scotiabanks in the region and Guelph.
