Kitchener Centre riding: Liberal Raj Saini defeats Conservative Stephen Woodworth

Liberal candidate Raj Saini won in Kitchener Centre, defeating incumbent Stephen Woodworth, the Conservative MP who has held the riding since 2008.

Saini took about 50 per cent of the popular vote to Woodworth's 30 per cent.

Kitchener Centre was redefined in 2012, when it gained territory from the former riding of Kitchener-Waterloo and lost territory to Kitchener-Conestoga and the new riding of Kitchener South-Hespeler for the2015 federal election.
