Cambridge man found dead in Yukon park

A missing Cambridge man who had been hiking in Kluane National Park in Yukon has been found dead.

A missing Cambridge man who washiking in Kluane National Park in Yukon has been found dead.

The 30-year-old man had registered with Parks Canada before leaving on a multi-day hike in the national park, located about 150 km west of Whitehorse, the RCMP said.

Police started searching for the man after he was reported missing Thursday. His body was found in a creek later that day.

Yukon coronerKristen Macdonald identified the manasYoichiKubota.

Macdonald saidhe likelyslipped and fell anddied due tothe effects of cold waterand exposure.

An autopsy has been ordered to investigate the cause of death.
