Body found in donation bin in Cambridge

WRPS investigate after the body of a man was found inside a donation bin in Cambridge Thursday morning.

Initial reports to police say a man was trapped in the chute of the bin

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after the body of a man found inside a donation bin at a parking lot on Hespeler Road near Can-Amera Parkway in Cambridge.

Cherri Greeno, Media Relations Coordinator with Waterloo Regional Police Service said police, fire and EMS responded to reports of a male trapped in the chute of the donation bin around 8 a.m.

"[The] male was pronounced deceased at the scene," Greeno said in an email. " [The] coroner, along with members of our identification unit and Detectives are on scene."

Police said the man appeared to bein his 30s.
