Kamloops residents voted against paying for a new Performing Arts Centre and parkade.

The vote was close - 53.7 per cent of people voted No while 46.26 per cent voted Yes.

Less than 32 per cent of the eligible voters in Kamloops cast a vote.

Brendan Shaw, Chair of the Yes Committee for Performing Arts, says it's time to regroup and move forward.
