STORIFY: Edmonton reacts to arena deal

With the news that funding questionsabout thedowntown arenahave apparently been settled,Edmontonians posted their reactions on Twitter.

Council passed a deal on Wednesday afternoon that will see Oilers owner Daryl Katz and the city of Edmonton throw in additional funds to offset the $55 million shortfall needed to start construction.

Some Edmontonians still have questions about the deal; others just seemed happy that the debate may finally be drawing to a close.
