Carjacking in northeast Calgary has police searching for silver Honda Civic

Calgary police are investigating after a man threatened a woman at gunpoint in her garage in the northeast of the city before taking off with her car.

Calgary police are investigating after a man threatened a womanat gunpoint in her garage before taking off with her car.

The incidenthappened just after 7 a.m. in the 300 block ofSkyview Ranch Road N.E.

Police said the woman was opening her detached garage,where her vehicle was started, when she saw a manwith what appeared to be a handgunstanding next to her car.

He demanded that she leave, and he drove away with the vehicle.

Police are searching for a silver 2012 Honda Civic with Alberta plate BLX8558 and are advising the public not to approach the vehicle if they see it.

The suspect is described as six feet tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a black jacket and a black mask over his face.
