Calgary man charged in death of Kyle Schuiling, whose body was found at a grass fire

Police have charged a Calgary man with first-degree murder in the death of 33-year-old Kyle Schuiling, whose remains were found last month west of the city by firefighters responding to a grass fire.

Police have charged a Calgary man with first-degree murder in the death of 33-year-old Kyle Schuiling, whose remains were found last month west of the city by firefighters responding to a grass fire.

In a news release Tuesday, the RCMPsaid they had charged Christopher Stack, 39,on May 3.

Stack has had several court appearances already, according to police, and has been remanded in custody.

His next court appearance is set for May 27 in Calgary.

Schuiling's body was found by members of the Tsuut'ina Nation Fire Department as they were extinguishing a grass fire in Rocky View County near Range Road 40 and Township Road 241early in the morning of April 3.
