And then there were 3

There are three options still available if you want to hit the mountains for some spring skiing this weekend.

Sunshine, Lake Louise and Nakiskaare the last ones standing. Nakiska is operating for two bonus weekends this weekend and next.

The good news isanyone with a season's pass to any of the hills owned by Resorts of the Canadian Rockies can ski the Nakiskabonus weekends for free.

Both Sunshine and Lake Louise are reporting some really good ski conditions this weekend. Both have had a few small snowfalls over the last few days and that's expected to continue into next week.

Weekend options

Saturday will likely be the sunnier of the two days this weekend, but Sunday will be the best for skiers hunting for fresh snow.

A few centimetres of are expected to fall each day until Wednesday, particularly on higher slopes.

On north-facing slopes, lucky skiers can find some mid-winter-like conditions in shaded areas.

On lower slopes, it's a mixed bag expect to see rain instead of snow and warmer conditions. Lake Louise is also reporting snow towards the base is getting a little thin.

Cross-countryskiing options

Options for cross-country skiing are also starting to be limited for outdoor enthusiasts.

As of Easter weekend,track grooming ended in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park.

For fresh grooming, check out the CanmoreNordicCentre, which wasgrooming trails as late as Thursday.
