Northwest shooting suspect named as police continue search

Calgary police have named the suspect in a targeted early morning shooting in the northwest.

The victim is a woman in her 40s and police say she is in critical but stable condition

Calgary police have named the suspect in a targeted early morning shooting in the northwest and have asked for the public's help in locating him.

Police say the shooting happened in Tuscany around 4 a.m. MT Sunday.

A woman in her 40s was shot multiple times and police say the suspect,UlisesBoris Quinteros, 51, allegedly fled in a vehicle.

The woman was taken to hospital and is in critical but stable condition.

Police say the two are known to each other.

Quinteros is described as Latino with a heavy build and dark hair that is worn in a small ponytail.

He is roughly five feet,10 inches tall and about 300 pounds.

Police say he is likely armed.

He is believed to be driving a 2008 white Dodge Caravan with licence plate BNF 9756.
