Mohammed Saqib identified as body found in vehicle in Airdrie

Airdrie RCMP have identified the man whose body was found last week in a burned-out vehicle as33-year-old Mohammed Saqib.

Police say he was the victim of a homicide.

"Themajor crimes branch south is continuing to investigate and are asking for the public's assistance in this case," said police in a release.

They are asking anyone with information on Saqib's whereabouts prior to Friday, Sept.18,to call them at403-948-7200orCrimeStoppers.
