Man charged with manslaughter after death on Stoney Nakoda First Nation

A charge of manslaughter has been laid in the recent death of a man on a southern Alberta reserve after Wilfred Junior Amos, a 28-year-old resident of Morley, Alta., died at a home on the Stoney Nakoda First Nation.

A charge of manslaughter has been laid in therecent death of a man on a southern Alberta reserve.

RCMP at Cochrane say Wilfred Junior Amos, a 28-year-old residentof Morley, Alta., died at a home on the StoneyNakoda First Nationearly on Jan.22.

An autopsy done two days later in Calgary determined that thedeath was a homicide.

The 30-year-old who is also from Morley, has been remanded incustody.
