Fatal hit-and-run in southeast Calgary claims life of 54-year-old man

Police are hunting for the driver of a Dodge Ram truck after a fatal hit-and-run in the city's southeast late on Saturday.

Acting Detective Antoinette McIntyre said a 54-year-old man was struck just after 11 p.m. last night in the 9200 block of 17thAve.S.E.

The driver fled the scene.

Police believe there is damage to the front end of the truck andare asking anyone with information to come forward.
