Man killed in single-vehicle crash in southeast Calgary

A man died in a single-vehicle crash in McKenzie Lake in southeast Calgary late Tuesday night when the truck he was driving struck a tree.

Conditions were slippery at time of accident

A man died in a single-vehicle crash in McKenzie Lake in southeast Calgary late Tuesday night when the truck he was driving struck a tree.

Police say the accident happened just before midnight on McKenzie Lake Way southeast.

Investigators believe slippery conditions werea factor, but police say they're still piecing together what happened.

Officers responded to dozens of crashes during Tuesday night's snowfall.

This was the third fatal crash on Calgary roads in less than a week.
