The city's series of flood recovery information sessions for the worst-hit neighbourhoods wrapped up in southwest Calgary Thursday night.

There were four information sessions held in each of the areasthat suffered the most flood damageInglewood, Sunnyside, Bowness andfinally in Roxboro.

Flood victim Kate Wood said she left the Roxboromeeting with a handful of helpful information from the city.

"We appreciate that, in the context of government, things have moved as quickly as they possibly could, especially given that people are away on summer holidays," she said.

Robb Fergusson, the spokesman for the city's recovery operations team, said they have provided as much information as they can for now.

But if there is public demand for more information sessions the city will hold more of them, he said.

"There have been some questions that we don't have the information to be able to answer them yet," he said.

"We're gathering those and then as the answers emerge, we're putting them up on our website and preparing packages of information for people," Fergusson said.

Those packages will be available for community associations to distribute, and answers to the most frequently asked questions will be posted on the city's website.
