4th suspect sought after man dies in suspected drug deal gone bad

Calgary police are trying to find a fourth suspect in connection with a violent assault last year that killed Tyler Sanderson in what investigators think was a drug deal gone wrong.

Calgary police are trying to find a fourth suspect in connection with a violent assault last year that killed Tyler Sanderson,in what investigators think was a drug deal gone wrong.

The suspect was seen in the Dover area in southeast Calgaryshortly afterSandersonwas fatally attacked near his home in Marlborough ParkonMay 15, 2016, police say.

Two men and a woman have already been charged with second-degree murder in relation to the attack.

Investigators believe Sanderson, 24, managed to get home that night, having sustained serious injuries from an apparentassault.

He then collapsed in his yard, where he was found by family members.He later died in hospital.

Lori AnnHeavenfire, 34, was the first suspect to becharged with second-degree murder in July last year.

A few weeks later, the same charge was laid againstDylanIrvinGeorge Calf, 24.

And in Septemberlastyear,Justin Cecil Scott, 31,was the third suspect to be charged with second-degree murder.

Scott, also known asBurburryBritt, who is being held at the Calgary Remand Centre.

Police described the fourth suspect as a black manbelievedto be an associate of Scott.

Investigators say the fourth suspect took property that belonged to the victim, and it has not yet been recovered.
