Calgary police homicide unit investigating death after incident at downtown club

Calgary police are investigating a suspicious death after what they say was an "incident" at a downtown nightclub Sunday.

Calgary police are investigating a suspicious death after what they say was an "incident" at a downtown nightclub Sunday.

Police were called to the club at 118 5th Avenue S.E.at 2:55 a.m. for reports that someone had been injured during a disturbance inside.

A man in his 30s was found with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital, where he later died.

Police are investigating and are still interviewing witnesses.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday.
